Native American Heritage Month Concert

November 10, 2018 - 7:00 PM

Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts, 210 Camp Lincoln Rd., Camp Verde

A Native American Heritage Month concert recognizing the breath of Hopi musical interests and talents. This concert benefits the Hopi Educational Endowment Fund and the Verde Valley Archaeology Center's Capital Campaign to preserve an ancestral Hopi pit house village dating to A.D. 650. Featuring Ongtupqa - Hopi Music and Connections to the Grand Canyon, and Casper and the Mighty 602 Band. 

Spring Heritage Pecan and Wine Festival

Pecan20WineAnnually, Third weekend in March - March 17 - 18, 2018 

The Spring Heritage Pecan and Wine Festival is an annual celebration of Camp Verde's pecan growers and wineries. The Festival includes nut and wine tastings, vendors, and music. This spring event coincides with the Verde River Runoff and the Verde Valley Archaeology Center's Archaeology fair.

Verde Valley Farmers Market

Summer Market: May 19 - October 6, 2018 (Every Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm)

From May to October, Camp Verde hosts the Summer Verde Valley Farmers Market, the Valley's oldest and largest "farmers only" market. The market is located under the ramada next to Fort Verde State Historical Park on Hollamon Street. This is an old-fashioned farmers market that focuses on homegrown produce and food products, and it attracts dozens of local vendors.  

Fall Market: October 20 - November 17, 2018 (Every Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm)

From October to November, Camp Verde hosts the Winter Verde Valley Farmers Market. Like the Summer market, the winter market is located under the ramada next to Fort Verde State Historical Park on Hollamon Street.

Scarecrows Around Town

Annually, The month of September

The Town of Camp Verde has dedicated the month of September as Scarecrows Around Town month. Starting in 2015, businesses and residents have created scarecrows based on a theme, and displayed them all over town for fun. The Scarecrows typically start appearing around Labor Day weekend, and stay on display through Fort Verde Days.  

Fort Verde Days

Annually, Second weekend in October - October 12 - 14, 2018

For sixty years, Fort Verde Days has served as the community's annual homecoming while also celebrating the military post around which the town Camp Verde grew. A carnival, parade, and a host of events at Fort Verde State Historic Park highlight the three-day event.

Christmas Bazaar and Parade of Lights

Annually Second Saturday in December - December 8, 2018

Christmas Bazaar and Light Parade: The holiday season officially kicks of the second Saturday in December with the all-day Christmas Craft Bazaar and the Parade of Lights down Main Street in the evening.
