Ellis Green Jazz Quartet

Featuring Ellis Green on upright bass, David Paonessa on piano, Matt McClintock on drums, and Charles Anderson on guitar – The Ellis Green Jazz quartet will be performing instrumental jazz renditions of selections from the Great American Songbook.

Ellis Green is a jazz bass player from Phoenix, Arizona. During his time with the Jazz Studies program at Arizona State University, he had the opportunity to study with pianist Michael Kocour. Ellis has played at venues around the Valley of the Sun, including The Nash, the premier jazz club in the Phoenix area. He has performed with artists including Bruce Forman, Michael Kocour and Lewis Nash.

Ellis will be joined for the June 4th performance by guitarist Charles Anderson, pianist David Paonessa and drummer Matt McClintock, all current and former students of the ASU Jazz Studies program. The quartet will be performing instrumental standards from the jazz repertoire.
