Camp Verde Calendar

Living History Day January 17th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Join the Fort Verde Interpretive Association and take a step back in time and see what an army camp would have looked like here from 1871-1891. See historical artifacts from weapons (with demonstrations of course) to the food and games, there’s no better way to learn about history than by talking with our living history volunteers. There will be no additional cost for this event, regular admission applies. Buffalo Soldiers Day February 21st from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Join the us as we pay tribute to the Buffalo Soldiers that were stationed here at the fort. There will be Living History Reenactments by the Fort Verde Interpretive Association, including weapons demonstrations. There will be no additional cost for this event, regular admission applies. Each year our neighborhood farmers start from seed a variety of plants for you to bring home and cultivate. We hope to offer: perennials and annuals, grasses, houseplants, succulents and cacti, and, most importantly, vegetables and herbs! There will also be a raffle with assorted prizes! All funds raised directly benefit Verde Valley Farmers Market and its mission to strengthen our local food community in the Verde Valley.
