Spring Events Calendar
Living History Day January 17th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Join the Fort Verde Interpretive Association and take a step back in time and see what an army camp would have looked like here from 1871-1891. See historical artifacts from weapons (with demonstrations of course) to the food and games, there’s no better way to learn about history than by talking with our living history volunteers. There will be no additional cost for this event, regular admission applies. Buffalo Soldiers Day February 21st from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Join the us as we pay tribute to the Buffalo Soldiers that were stationed here at the fort. There will be Living History Reenactments by the Fort Verde Interpretive Association, including weapons demonstrations. There will be no additional cost for this event, regular admission applies.
