Verde Valley Farmer's Market
June 4 – October 1 (Every Saturday)
From June to October, Camp Verde hosts the Verde Valley Farmers Market, the Valley’s oldest and largest “farmers only” market. The market is located under the ramada next to Fort Verde State Historical Park on Hollamon Street. This is an old-fashioned farmers market that focuses on homegrown produce and food products, and it attracts dozens of local vendors.
The Verde Valley Farmers Market is open every Saturday morning, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., from June to October.
Spring Heritage Pecan and Wine Festival
Annually, Third weekend in March
The Spring Heritage Pecan and Wine Festival is an annual celebration of Camp Verde’s pecan growers and wineries. The Festival includes nut and wine tastings, vendors, and music. This spring event coincides with the Verde River Runoff and the Verde Valley Archaeology Center’s Archaeology fair.
Annually 3rd Weekend in July
First celebrated 25 years ago Cornfest pays homage to the Verde Valley’s famous sweet corn, grown at Hauser and Hauser Farms in Camp Verde. This is a “corny” old-fashioned family event with plenty of food, fun, games, music, vendors and, of course, sweet corn. Visitors can enjoy a Vintage baseball game at Fort Verde State Historic Park. The Fort also hosts a Victorian Christmas ornament-making event for kids as part of the Christmas in July celebration.
Scarecrows around Town
Annually, The month of September
The Town of Camp Verde has dedicated the month of September as Scarecrows Around Town month. Starting in 2015, businesses and residents have created scarecrows based on a theme, and displayed them all over town for fun. The Scarecrows typically start appearing around Labor Day weekend, and stay on display through Fort Verde Days.
Fort Verde Days
Annually, Second weekend in October
For sixty years, Fort Verde Days has served as the community’s annual homecoming while also celebrating the military post around which the town Camp Verde grew. A carnival, parade, and a host of events at Fort Verde State Historic Park highlight the three-day event.
Christmas Bazaar and Parade of Lights
Annually Second Saturday in December
The holiday season officially kicks of the second Saturday in December with the all-day Christmas Craft Bazaar and the Parade of Lights down Main Street in the evening.
