Montezuma Castle National Monument Visitor Center & Museum Grand Reopening – Cultural Demonstration

The Montezuma Castle National Monument Visitor Center & Museum Grand Reopening celebration continues this weekend June 14-15 with cultural demonstrations from Duran Gaspar (Zuni) and Jimmy Yawakia (Zuni). They will be making jewelry and fetishes on site with many available to the public. Be sure to visit between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when they will be demonstrating on both days! Event is free with paid park entrance.
There are demonstrations each weekend in June to commemorate the grand reopening of the visitor center. Please remember to be safe and carry/drink plenty of water while enjoying the events. The summer heat is here and it’s important to plan like a ranger!
