Fort Verde Days

Annually, Second weekend in October

Saturday, October 14th & Sunday, October 15th

For 65 years, Fort Verde Days has served as the community’s annual homecoming while also celebrating the military post around which the town Camp Verde grew. A parade on Saturday, food & craft vendors, entertainment and a host of events at Fort Verde State Historic park highlight this event. Not a pet friendly event. Only Service Animals will be allowed.

Fort Verde days' Parade

The annual Fort Verde Days parade will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10am. Join the fun and create your own float for the parade.

This year’s Parade Theme is “Verde Gras – Fun in the Verde Valley”

This parade theme allows people to showcase what they, their family, and friends as well as community organizations do for enjoyment here in the Verde Valley.

Decorate your RV, your ATV, or your horse! Gather up your sports team, corn hole league or bowling team and march through Town. Showcase your organization’s community activities on a flatbed trailer. Reminisce about your childhood, things your grandparents did or maybe what future generations might enjoy. The parade kicks off Saturday at 10 am from behind the Basha’s Supermarket on Finnie Flat Rd. It continues up the hill onto Main Street, passing through the center of Town and then out onto General Crook Trail to finish. The parade route is just over a mile.

The Parade will be run by Parks and Recreation staff, so if you have any questions or need anything, please reach out to us at 928-554-0820 ext 3.
