Fort Verde Days Parade

The annual Fort Verde Days parade will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10am. Join the fun and create your own float for the parade.

This year’s Parade theme is Desert Life

  • Show us plants and/or animals that live here in the high desert
  • Show us how you’re your family has lived or lives in the desert
  • Show us activities that are available to you in the high desert in which we live
  • Show us things that are unique to our high desert, like the Verde River
  • Entries can be based on the past, present, or future of our high desert community
  • Categories of Business, Community, Family, and People’s Choice receiving awards for entries that best fit the theme

The Parade will be run by Parks and Recreation staff, so if you have any questions or need anything, please reach out to us at 928-554-

At this time, we are looking at extending the parade route to better allow for social distancing. We do not anticipate requiring masks within or on each float/entry, that will be up to each individual entry to determine what is best for their group. There may be changes to the parade per requirements and recommendations that come from State or Federal agencies and we will inform parade entrants of any changes as we get closer to the event.
